“Who is Nic?” I hear you thinking. Nic is Nicola Phillips, Susan Boyle's PR rep. For some strange reason, Nic befriended a lot of the people who run susan-boyle.com. According to this chat and other info floating around, Nic was very involved with the entire auction process. She communicated with the moderators of the site before and during the auction. And, as we can see from the transcript, they believed that she might buy the website if it looked like their bid would fail.
It seems irregular, to say the least.
